I saw this movie 'Bhootnath' today. The movie is although just OK, but the way Amitabh Bachchan played 'bhootnath' in the movie is really awesome. Once again he has proved that no one can justify a character in a movie, better than him.....may it be an angry young man, an underworld don, a comedian, a sensitive & loving father, a dedicated teacher, a helpless parent or a passionate lover....the list being endless.

He has also been declared the winner in the Outlook poll of 'Favourite star of all times.' by a big margin, way ahead of all his competitors, they say. 

His screen presence is really captivating. He simply leaves his audience mesmerised. He is a modern, stylish, graceful, passionate, strong willed, energetic & a person with a magnetic personality. (too many adjectives??....i know, but can't help it!)  No one could ever come even lose to him till date. He gives a very strong competition to even the young actors of today.

Many comparisons have been made between SRK & Big B in the recent times, but that comparison is not at all justified & logical. Shah Rukh is an excellent actor but nothing in him can be compared to the aura of Big B. (sorry all SRK fans, this is just my personal opinion & i do not intend to hurt anyone.) Amitabh is a versatile actor & has proved it beyond any doubts, over a period of time. SRK too has given a no. of hits & his 'Don' too was a super success at the box office, but if you still remember the old don, you'll realise the way Amitabh says " Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, namomkin hai." is breath-taking.  Amitabh somehow manages to give the character  a realistic touch, makes it believable & you can easily feel him to be one amongst us all, which he manages to do all the time, whereas ShahRukh's character as a Don was stylish, but had that unrealistic & artificial touch somewhere. Amitabh's intensity was missing in the new Don.

I not only appreciate Amitabh as an actor but also as a human being. How many of us can strive to reach that level of success again in our lives, after going through those professional failures & physical setbacks in life? It is one & only Mr. Bachchan who has proved to the world, with his strong will power, positive attitude & consistent hard work, that nothing in life is difficult to achieve at any stage of your life.  You just have to dream Big to be Big. No one else from his era could dream of gaining these level of popularity at the age of 60! Even today he is capable of making your heart skip a beat by his breath-taking performances.

Big B has always emerged as a winner under all circumstances & in all situations of his professional as well as personal life. Cheers to his undying spirit! May this always continue & may he always live a long, happy & healthy life.
